Hell. is a play that explores the possibilities offered by the virtual world in experimentation and self-construction. Inspired by her digital archives, actress Laura Den Hondt plays Hell., a teenager searching for herself on the internet through everything that her age brings – games, love, loneliness, sex, the future, death. On stage, she forms a duo with a central screen, a fantastical interface for her digital double, which evolves with her. A hybrid surface personifying the fluctuations of her thoughts and her interactions with the virtual world. Through a scenic and non-literal translation of digital space, the play immerses us
in a sensitive and immersive experience of the virtual worlds that surround us. If the virtual is part of our lives, what has it changed in us?
